today i heard a common thread running through the messages at ridgepoint and at the gathering. both jim and tryg touched on the revolution that is today and tomorrow and the change that lies within ourselves.

while jim spoke of fanning the flame and keeping the spirit alive, tryg and donald cronkite conversed about pacifism and the struggle to follow Jesus, the prince of peace.

Jesus called not only a tax collector, a doctor, and a fisherman, but also a zealot. our prince of peace, called a zealot to be his disciple.

the timing of these messages are interesting -- as our country is in the midst of foreign turmoil as well as economic decline, we also are about to launch into a week that could shed light on the future of our nation’s leadership.
