it's my day. (it can be your day too....make it your day)

thank you dear friend emilie (also the lady who put the bug in my ear to blog through this sabbatical) for the wonderful mail today!

i love finding envelopes with my name on them in the mailbox. even more, i like cards that have freshly sharpened colored pencils on the front :)

inside it read:

you, whose day it is, get out your rainbow colors and make it beautiful

yes yes yes.

i may be wearing black, but all those rainbow colors are coming out from inside me today.
